Georgetown Day wins 2023 MAC Track & Field Championships

On Saturday evening at the Bullis School, Georgetown Day School handily won the 2023 MAC Track and Field Championships, its first team title since 2015. The Mighty Hoppers finished with 189 points, leading runners-up Flint Hill (100) and Sidwell Friends (85), who won the 2022 title over Georgetown Day by just two points.

The Mighty Hoppers relay team of juniors Nathaniel Romine, Kovan Smith, Zachary Kovner and Nathaniel Mintzer also broke the school’s 4x100 relay record set in 2014 with a time of 43.21 seconds.
